125 MORE!

For more than 125 years, YMCA Camp Abnaki has given generations of boys childhood memories that help shape who they are and develop the core values they carry forward through their lives.

125 MORE! is our shared effort to ensure that the meaningful experiences which impact boys and their families today remain possible for another 125 years and beyond.

Why It Matters

Camp Abnaki is an important part of childhood and family life. At a time when many boys are searching for connection and belonging, the benefits of camp extend far beyond the summer. They show up in how boys relate to others, take responsibility, and find a lasting sense of joy that carries into their families, schools, workplaces, and communities.

For generations, campers have learned to live out Abnaki’s motto: “Help the Other Fellow.” Whether supporting a cabinmate through a challenge, welcoming a new camper, or contributing to the Camp community, boys learn that belonging comes not only from being accepted, but from helping others feel they belong as well.

125 MORE! is focused on:

• Helping more kids experience camp
• Supporting families so camp remains within reach
• Keeping Camp’s traditions alive
• Caring for and improving Camp for future generations

Camp has been the single most influential thing in my life. My 6 years as a camper shaped me into the person I am today. I truly believe that any boy who spends a week or two at Camp Abnaki will be a better person than they were before. More importantly though they will forge unforgettable memories and life time friendships. If I could change one thing about my childhood it would be to have spent more time at camp.
